Regenerative Medicine is a new field of medicine holding great promise. The field of Regenerative Medicine focuses on addressing issues and problems from the standpoint of healing the problem either noninvasively or minimally invasively prior to the need of resorting to other interventions such as surgery.

This is accomplished by stimulating the body’s own abilities and mechanisms to establish and restore normal function. Whereby previously slow to heal or irreparable tissues and organs are regenerated and rejuvenated. This often occurs at an accelerated rate than would normally be the case. Where normal healing generally includes scaring that inhibits normal function, scaring is very minimal to not occurring. In cases where scar tissues have already formed, normal tissue is stimulated to replace scared tissues.

For example, 80% of orthopedic problems in the very near future will be resolved through minimally invasive regenerative medicine.

A few of the conditions and issues Regenerative Medicine addresses are:

  • Muscle tears,
  • Tendon and ligament tears,
  • Disc issues,
  • Neuropathies,
    • Lack of sensation,
    • Pain,
  • Range of motion,
  • Wound healing,
  • Surgical repair issues,
  • Sexual issues,
  • Skin and even hair issues,
  • Gastrointestinal,
  • Autoimmune disorders.

To the extent possible, Regenerative Medicine employs mostly natural medications and products ad leading edge devices to stimulate accelerated healing absent scaring which inhibits or prevents proper function. In most cases, healing can be achieved 2 to 3 times faster than otherwise would be the norm. Tissues and organs once considered irreparable or irreparable without surgery can now frequently be regenerated and rejuvenated to or near normal function.

The speed at which Regenerative Medicine may benefit you depends upon many factors, such as:

  • Age
    • Your age
    • Age of condition or issue,
  • Severity of condition or issue,
  • Type of condition or issue,
  • Location of condition or issue,
  • Method you have elected to address a condition or issue with.

Each of us is unique. Some conditions or issues may be resolved in a single treatment and others may require a bit of a journey. Generally, the sooner a condition, issue or injury is treated, the easier and more quickly it can be resolved.

The field of Regenerative Medicine is rapidly evolving and developing. We are continuously striving to identify better medications, biologics and devices to improve your outcome.
